Crassa unitella

    Golden-brown Tubic

    OecophoridaeABH 28.014 B&F 642

Fairly common and widespread, though apparently absent from the Mendips and perhaps inland Exmoor.  Single specimens often end up in garden light traps, but the moth's real home is in wooded areas, where it is more numerous, on occasion becoming abundant.
