This moth can only be identified by dissection of the adult.&nbsp; There is a scatter of records around the county, with a slight tendency to occur coastally around Weston-super-Mare.&nbsp;

Sea-rush Case-bearer

One record, from Berrow in 2013, of a larval case on Sea Club-rush Juncus maritimus.&nbsp; Could plausibly occur on some of the other saltmarsh areas within the county.

Golden-rod Case-bearer

Found after a long absence from the county in 2019 on the Blue Anchor cliffs, where the likely foodplant is goldenrod; very old records from Batcombe and Leigh Woods.&nbsp; Sea aster is an alternative foodplant and it may be worth searching for the cases on this plant.
