Dark Thistle Case-bearer

Just four records of this species, which feeds on thistles and knapweeds and might be expected to be more common - Great Breach Wood (2021), Leigh Woods (1972), Crewkerne (pre-1939) and Brislington (1908).

Agrimony Case-bearer

Fairly widespread and frequently recorded in Somerset, sometimes at light, and sometimes as a larval case.&nbsp; The foodplants recorded in Somerset are hemp-agrimony Eupatorium cannabinum, fleabane Pulicaria dysenterica and elecampane Inula helenium.

Dusted Case-bearer

A single Somerset record, to light at Thurlbear in 2005.&nbsp; Normally a saltmarsh species, this example must be of a wandering individual.&nbsp; It has yet to be recorded from the saltmarshes on the Somerset coast.
