    Its rocky moorland and hillside habitat means that this species is very local in Somerset, restricted to Exmoor and the Quantocks. Recorded in very small numbers and not annually. May be disturbed during the day. Larval foodplant is Bedstraws.  It is more common and widespread in Wales, northern England and Scotland.
