Brussels Lace

    Cleorodes lichenaria

    GeometridaeABH 70.288 B&F 1945

A moth that appears to be becoming more common and expanding its range.  It was always present and widespread in a band from Porlock/Dulverton to Yeovil/Wincanton, and locally north to the foot of the Mendip ridge.  Although it appears to find the hills themselves not to its taste, it has begun to be recorded north of the hills in recent years, becoming on occasions locally common there.

    Adult Verification Grade: 1
