The Streak

    Chesias legatella

    GeometridaeABH 70.195 B&F 1864

Historically rare and local in the county, it has been reported irregularly in small numbers since 1990; its late flight period (October) may mean that it is under-recorded. It was once regularly recorded from the hills around Minehead, and although it has not been seen there since the 1970s, it may still occur there.  Its habitats include moorland,  heathland, hedgerows and other habitat where the larval foodplant, Broom, occurs.
