Haworth's Minor

Confined to wet moorland on Exmoor, especially around Simonsbath, with cotton-grasses Eriophorum spp.  These are amongst the most southerly British populations.  Most records come from running lights on its habitat, but it is sometimes recorded flying by day.  The ongoing mire restoration works in this area should hopefully benefit this moth.
