Chequered Grass-veneer

A fair scattering of records across the county, though avoiding some of the county's upland areas.&nbsp; It appears to be quite a local moth, a regular visitor to some garden light traps yet absent from others.

Pearl Grass-veneer

Widespread across the county.&nbsp; Most records are of small numbers from garden moth traps.&nbsp; It is occasionally found in some numbers in woodland, particularly in the Blackdowns.

Pearl-band Grass-veneer

Essentially an Exmoor species, being particularly numerous at Haddon Hill and around Simonsbath, occasionally wandering into the lowlands where it seems particularly inclined to migrate along the coast northwards from Burnham-on-Sea.&nbsp; Like many grass-moths, it flies by day as well as at night.
