Caryocolum blandella

Only a few records of this moth, with a bias towards the south and west of the county.  The foodplant, Greater Stitchwort Stellaria holostea, is far from rare and the moth may be under-recorded.  In early spring the larva mines the leaves, moving on to forming a spinning in May.
