Red Birch Slender

A scarce leaf-miner on birch,
largely restricted to areas where birch occurs naturally.&nbsp; Recorded both as a leaf-mine and as an adult
to light; adults not reared from the foodplant need dissection to separate them from <i>C. elongella</i>.

Clouded Slender

Three records, all recent, from
widely separated locations: Felton Common (2013), Weston-super-Mare (2015) and
Ash Priors Common (2016).&nbsp; Comes to
light, and also recorded as a leaf-miner on birch.

Pale Red Slender

Fairly common and widespread.&nbsp; Most records are of leaf-mines on alder, but
it also comes to light.&nbsp; Adults that have not been reared need
dissection to separate them from <i>C.
betulicola</i>.
