Scarce Silver Y

The only record is of a presumed migrant/dispersing
individual near Taunton in 2006, a year of high migrant activity.&nbsp; It is essentially a northern, upland species
frequenting moorland, occurring not too far away in south Wales, and might possibly be worth searching for on the higher,
wilder parts of Exmoor.

Plain Golden Y

Widespread across the county and
fairly common, being noticeably more numerous in the south of the county from
Wiveliscombe to Yeovil.

A moth of moors and open grassland, found primarily in Wales, northern England and Scotland.&nbsp; Immigrants perhaps&nbsp; account for the handful of county records.
