Grass Wave

This species inhabits lowland heathland, moorland and open woodland, where larvae feed on Heather, Heath and Broom.&nbsp; It is sparsely distributed in Britain and is rare and local in the county.&nbsp; Common Wave is a possible confusion species.

Straw Belle

A nationally rare species of rough chalk grassland, it has always been sporadic in the county.&nbsp; There are just two modern records, from Taunton in 1948 and Bratton, near Minehead, in 2014.

Yellow Belle

Scarce in sandy, coastal areas,
especially around Berrow and Sand Bay; also on species-rich, rocky grassland
sites with considerable bare ground, such as Hurlstone Point and Crook
Peak.&nbsp; An occasional wanderer elsewhere.
