Oak-bark Argent

Usually recorded from its larval workings on oak, but
occasionally comes to light.&nbsp; Most
records are from upland south and west Somerset, where it is no doubt more
widespread than maps suggest.&nbsp; Much
scarcer in the north and east of the county, but there are recent records from
Great Breach Wood and Leigh Wood.

Brindled Argent

Always fairly scarce and local, and appears to have been
declining; the removal of many apple orchards would no doubt account for
this.&nbsp; 21st century records
from the Weston-super-Mare and Taunton areas, Tyntesfield and Langport.

Netted Argent

Rather local, though as with many birch-feeding species,
commonest in the upland south and west of the county (and perhaps
under-recorded here).
