White-shouldered Marble

Recorded in small numbers most years, from areas where its
foodplant, birch, is common – mostly Exmoor, the Quantocks, the Blackdowns and
the Levels around Shapwick.

Diamond-back Marble

Widespread but scarce, associated with oak.&nbsp; It is attracted to light, but is only very
occasional in gardens.

Short-barred Marble

There are few records of this species, associated with
sallows.&nbsp; It appears to have declined, as
it was once thinly recorded across the county, but there are very few recent
records.
