Brindled Ochre

No recent records; in the mid-20th century fairly regularly reported coastally, especially around Weston-super-Mare and Minehead (being described as 'common' in Minehead in 1959, for example).

Deep-brown Dart

Distinctly local in Somerset, with most records from an area in the south of the county between Taunton, Yeovil and the Poldens.&nbsp; It is usually reported only a handful of times each year, but often as several individuals.&nbsp; There are isolated, occasional records outside this area, particularly around Burnham-on-Sea and Frome, possibly suggesting local populations there.

Black Rustic

Common and widespread across the county, apart from a distribution gap in inland Exmoor that is as likely to be caused by an absence of recorders as an absence of moths.
