Ancylis badiana

    Meadow Hook-wing

    TortricidaeABH 49.214 B&F 1126

Other than A. achatana, this species is the most frequently recorded of this large genus – but it is strangely local, confined to the Blackdowns and from the Mendips northwards.  Numbers seem to have declined since the turn of the century.
