Anarsia spartiella

Scarce, perhaps under-recorded.  Most recent records are from the Mendips, where gorse is probably the foodplant. It has been found fairly recently in the Porlock area, and there is no shortage of suitable habitat there and on Exmoor more widely.  Surprisingly, it has not been found on the Quantocks.
