Small Sober

Scarce, perhaps under-recorded.&nbsp; Most recent records are from the Mendips,
where gorse is probably the foodplant. It has been found fairly recently in the
Porlock area, and there is no shortage of suitable habitat there and on Exmoor
more widely.&nbsp; Surprisingly, it has not
been found on the Quantocks.

Square-spot Sober

Usually several records of low numbers most year; comes to light but can be found in leaf-rolls on the leaves of hazel in the spring.&nbsp; Scattered across the county, though commonest
towards the south and west.&nbsp; Targeted searching might well show it to be more common than this.

Acer Sober

A recent colonist, both nationally and locally, spreading out from the south-east and only arriving in Somerset in 2022.&nbsp; Appears now to be widely distributed if not yet particularly common, and can reasonably be expected to become more abundant in the future.
