Greenweed Flat-body

Formerly widely distributed across the county, but its foodplant, dyer's greenweed, has declined to the point where it is itself a county rarity, and the moth has only recently been recorded from Merryfield, where a population seems to be persisting.<br>

Sallow Flat-body

Formerly widespread with century-old records from as far apart as Brislington, Castle Cary and Crewkerne.&nbsp; In the last half-century, only recorded from the Gordano valley (1982) and Porlock Marsh (1987), and possibly extinct in the county now.<br>

Broom Flat-body

Restricted by the distribution of its foodplant, broom, to Exmoor and the Quantocks, from which there are three records, all from this century; there are likely to be more sites for the moth in these areas.&nbsp; Never recorded from VC6.<br>
