Sallow Flat-body

Formerly widespread with century-old records from as far apart as Brislington, Castle Cary and Crewkerne.&nbsp; In the last half-century, only recorded from the Gordano valley (1982) and Porlock Marsh (1987), and possibly extinct in the county now.<br>

Large Purple Flat-body

Formerly widespread, now infrequently reported and usually from species-rich woodland, most recently from Buckland Wood and Great Breach Wood.<br>

Small Purple Flat-body

Formerly widespread though always absent from western Somerset, this species is still recorded but seems to have retreated to parts of the county which still retain reasonable amounts of calcareous grassland.<br>
