For many years known only from a record made by A. R. Hayward at Haselbury Park, in the far south of the county, on 30 April 1937.&nbsp; The second county record was from Brean Down on 21 July 2021.

Large Carrot Flat-body

Rare, and only distinguishable with difficulty from the much more abundant <i>A. heracliana</i>.&nbsp; The only records this century are from Wells and Periton.<br>

Powdered Flat-body

A national rarity and a sand-dune specialist.&nbsp; Recorded from the Berrow and Burnham-on-Sea areas, with a long sequence of records from one Burnham-on-Sea garden, 2000-2015.&nbsp; Not recorded since but might well persist in the area.&nbsp; Unlikely to occur elsewhere in the county; a 1952 record from Bickenhall in the Blackdowns is surely of a dispersing/migratory individual.<br>
