Broom Flat-body

Restricted by the distribution of its foodplant, broom, to Exmoor and the Quantocks, from which there are three records, all from this century; there are likely to be more sites for the moth in these areas.&nbsp; Never recorded from VC6.<br>

Small Purple Flat-body

Formerly widespread though always absent from western Somerset, this species is still recorded but seems to have retreated to parts of the county which still retain reasonable amounts of calcareous grassland.<br>

Sallow Flat-body

Formerly widespread with century-old records from as far apart as Brislington, Castle Cary and Crewkerne.&nbsp; In the last half-century, only recorded from the Gordano valley (1982) and Porlock Marsh (1987), and possibly extinct in the county now.<br>
