Short-barred Yellow Conch

Rare and very local - seven records in all, the most recent in 2006, six from the Berrow/Burnham-on-Sea area, and one not too far removed, from Bridgwater in 1960.

Yarrow Conch

Fairly common, but perhaps declining, in flowery areas.&nbsp; At its most abundant around Taunton, but not recorded from the west of the county.

Downland Conch

A moth with a scattered distribution across the county, preferring open, flower-rich, perhaps weedy ground with populations of the various composites on which the larvae feed.
