Fairly widespread across the county as far west as Taunton; appears to be established on Steep Holm (records in 1933 and 2014).  Occasional field observations by day, but usually observed at light.  The usual foodplant is Hemlock Conium maculatum, but it will also use Alexanders Smyrnium olusatrum, which can be locally common coastally.

    Adult Verification Grade: 2
